Causes We Support
Rapahope
Since 1985, Rapahope has been bringing joy to the children and their families struggling with a cancer diagnosis. Rapahope is a nonprofit organization that offers free, year-round recreational programming, including a flagship summer camp, as well as weekend and day-long opportunities for families and siblings to have fun together. The goal is to help campers have life-changing camp experiences filled with as many amazing moments as possible. Rapahope is a member of Children’s Oncology Camping Association International (COCA-I). Our team is taking part in Rapahope’s annual “Turkey Trot for Hope” fundraiser, a certified 5K and “Gobble Wobble” fun run to kick off the holiday season on Thanksgiving Day. You’re invited to take part!
African Bible Colleges
Dedicated in memory of Spence Dye, the Spence Dye School of Business & Community Development in Malawi fosters the development of Christian business leaders who exemplify the same traits as our founder and the school’s namesake: honesty, resilience and work ethic. Bobby Dye and his wife, Darnell, funded the construction of the Spence Dye Building, a facility where hundreds of industrious young Christian entrepreneurs in East Africa develop personally and professionally.
Andi's Army
Dye Resource Management is proud to be a Bronze Star Supporter of Andi’s Army, a local nonprofit organization assisting children born with Down syndrome and their families. Established in 2018, Andi’s Army strives to educate others on Down syndrome, and their annual golf tournament is one way they help raise awareness. We’re honored to tee off and be a part of this awesome annual event — and celebrate Andi any chance we get!
Shatter the Silence
Mandy W. Harkins, our Director of Operations, is passionate about suicide prevention, and we are too. Throughout her early adulthood, Mandy faced a series of mental health challenges, and through that adversity she became a strong advocate for mental health awareness. Mandy has been featured in the Mississippi Department of Health's "Shatter the Silence" suicide prevention campaign, and we are proud to join her in supporting this critical cause.
Mississippi NICA
Guided by five core values — fun, equity, inclusivity, respect and community — the Mississippi National Interscholastic Cycling Association is part of a nationwide NICA organization that works with communities, student-athletes and schools to develop mountain biking programs that build strong minds, bodies and character. Since 2009, NICA leagues across the U.S. have worked to fight depression, build confidence, increase self-esteem and nurture social skills by getting #MoreKidsOnBikes!
